Heartwarming moments shared at the “Pho of Love” event, where more than 500 bowls of hot pho were handed over directly to pediatric patients, parents, and staff at City Children’s Hospital by Miss Intercontinental Bao Ngoc along with leaders from Viet Sunrise Plastic JSC, Pho Sam Ngoc Linh, and Pho Phu Gia.

Spreading love through a warm bowl of pho

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. BS – Meritorious Doctor Truong Quang Dinh, pediatric patients as well as staff members were delighted because they could enjoy delicious pho dishes, the most quintessential culinary symbol of Vietnam, right at the hospital.

“We know that Tuoi Tre Newspaper has also introduced this pho dish to South Korea and Japan. Therefore, City Children’s Hospital is very happy and honored to join and support this activity, collectively honoring the status of Vietnamese pho, not only in Vietnam but also across the globe,” Assoc. Prof. Dr. BS – Meritorious Doctor Truong Quang Dinh emphasized.

At the event, many pediatric patients and parents could not hide their emotions. Not only did they have the opportunity to meet and interact with the beautiful, talented, friendly, and down-to-earth Miss Intercontinental Bao Ngoc, but they were also personally and thoughtfully served hot bowls of pho by her, as she gently inquired after and encouraged the little angels to recover quickly.

“Having accompanied Vietnamese pho for a while, Bao Ngoc always holds a special affection for the Vietnamese bowl of pho. Especially when coming here to visit the children, Ngoc wishes even more to convey love to them through these bowls of pho.

Because when someone is unwell or feeling tired, eating a bowl of pho usually helps their body feel stronger. Bao Ngoc also hopes that a bowl of pho can connect and share with the children, the mothers…”, the Miss Intercontinental emphasized.
